Join forces with us to go Barefoot at a World Naked Bike Ride near you!
We are proud to be working with the World Naked Bike Ride (WNBR). We began our collaboration in London on Saturday 8 June 2024 in London – two projects that have for many years recognised nudity as an impactful, relevant way to explore fundamental issues that people face in life. Now, for the first time ever, we are working together!
Our first collaboration with WNBR has already given us some extraordinary insights. The 2024 London ride enabled us to see for ourselves the very different experiences that people have of the event – as naked participants, as clothed spectators, as people of diverse genders, sexualities and cultural traditions.
In one space, we were able to see very different people having different experiences alongside each other. Together, Barefoot and World Naked Bike Ride can empower everyone to show up in that space as allies.
Our project began by creating group shots of a sports team for a calendar. Now, with WNBR, we can take group shots of humanity for a bigger cause. These rides, which take place annually in cities around the world, offer us a snapshot of where we are today and where we want to be tomorrow.
So we will show up to do what we do best at Barefoot – filming interviews and creating images at WNBR events. Why not join us?
If you are considering attending a WNBR ride anywhere in the world, we would like to hear from you. Just fill in the form below for the chance to talk to us on camera – as a cyclist, as a supporter, and whatever your age, gender, sexuality or beliefs. We value every perspective at Barefoot.
Whether you get naked or not, this could be the start of your Barefoot journey!
