The Changing Room

Poetry is a new thing for us.  We have focused on sharing images since we published our first calendar in 2009, but sometimes pictures cannot tell the whole story.

That is why we have launched our new text-based imprint, Barefoot Words, to stand alongside our images and films as part of a bigger discussion:  what do we want from men and how do we get there?

Our first Barefoot Words publication is The Changing Room, a beautifully illustrated collection of poetry.  Printed and  bound in England on high quality sustainably-sourced paper, this is a book you will be able to treasure forever.

Enjoy forty-seven poems that trace moments of despair, epiphany and redemption.  Together, they offer a poignant, often funny and sometimes painfully raw take on our project's origin story. 

All proceeds from sales of this book will go to our registered charity Barefoot Sport Allies to promote inclusion in sport and equity in life chances.
