The Changing Room

Poetry is a new way for us to share stories that explore how healthier masculinity can play a positive role in everyone’s future.  It is part of how we are developing a space for conversations about healthier masculinities in which everyone’s voice can be heard. 

Our first collection, The Changing Room, is a beautifully produced book, printed and  bound in England on sustainably-sourced paper.   

Enjoy forty poems that trace moments of despair, epiphany and redemption.  Together, they offer a poignant, often funny and sometimes painfully raw take on our project's origin story. 

All proceeds from sales of this book will go to our registered charity Barefoot Sport Allies to promote inclusion in sport and equity in life chances.  

We are providing 250 copies for sale in this exclusive first edition of The Changing Room.  Each exclusive first edition copy contains a QR code that will enable you to add your voice and share your story.  We are turning sixteen and we need your advice and guidance as we grow!
